House number planter
Keep seeing these online and have always wanted one.
Found some old wood from a playhouse and an old flower bed, so decided to make one.
By using faux plants (from Bunnings) it meant I didn’t have to create a soil bed, making the whole thing super easy to make!
First I started by gluing together these panels to make a backing plate…
After removing excess glue with a chisel, I glued two piece of old hardwood to the front and drilled holes into the top to hold the faux plants.
Added our door number to top and ta-dah!

Re: House Number Planter
That is super cool, @craftyhopper! I love the simplicity of your design and how impactful the results are.
I trust many of our members new to woodworking could try this as their first project.
Many thanks for sharing. Really inspiring work.
