Hi everyone,
Our tenants have just sent this to us. Is this a serious situation that we need to start planning a water tank replacement? How much should we spare to get it repaired? (large repair cost would likely to be incurred?)
Thank you for any advice 🙏
Hello @ivanptr
I suggest checking the water tank first and see if it still has water. If it does, then odds are the pump needs replacing. The only reason you would change your water tank is if a catastrophic leak or crack has appeared on the side of the water tank.
I recommend getting in contact with your plumber as soon as you can so that the problem can be addressed immediately. The general cost would involve the time of the plumber, the cost of the water pump and incidental parts.
Please remember to keep the docket of the pump for warranty purposes.
