Im building an out door kitchen that incorporates a brick wood oven and BBQ. Can I lay Besser block straight onto the pavers or do I need to pull them up and put down a concrete base.
Hello @Jonah
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about building an outdoor kitchen. I propose having a quick look at this discussion - How to join Hebel blocks and concrete slab? by @paulbwilliams12. It's an excellent example of how you can put Hebel blocks together.

In regards to the base of your kitchen, I propose building a concrete base and pulling out your pavers. Pavers are often loose and prone to movement. These movements will affect the stability of your kitchen. Whereas a concrete base, if prepared properly will provide a solid non-moving foundation for your kitchen.

I propose drawing a plan on paper and sharing it with the community. This will give our members a better idea of what the wood oven and BBQ will look like in your setup. You can then share specific questions you might have about your kitchen plan.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
