Re: painting outdoor tiles
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Mary64. It's lovely to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about painting tiles.
I'm unaware of any products suitable for painting glazed exterior tiles as they are a non-porous substrate. Paving paints like White Knight Ultra Pave are designed for porous pavers or concrete. Substrate porosity is essential for the paint to bind adequately. With a glazed tile like you have, the paint will sit on top of it and will be easily scraped off. For the paint to adhere to your tiles, you'd need to grind the glazing off them, with is a tedious process and not something I would advise you to attempt.
I'd recommend holding off and retiling your steps when able.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
