I am about to fill in the garage opening with a stud wall with blue board external cladding. I am not sure what to do where the blue board meets the driveway concrete to protect from weather and water damage. To I add flashing, do I finish the blue board short of the concrete and seal another way. Any advice will be welcomed. Thank you.
Hi @awalters_jedi,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
If you can upload some photos of where you are planning to build this wall, this will certainly help our members offer their best advice. Let me know if you need a hand uploading photos, I'm happy to help if required.
Does the timber frame sit back on the concrete, or is it built up to an edge that the blue board can overhang? Can you also advise the specific blue board cladding you are planning to use?
I ask because they will almost always have information in their installation guide that can be followed for applications such as the one, you're describing.
If the installation guide can be followed, then we should do so.
If not, then I may be able to assist with a work around solution, but I would need the specific details to offer guidance.
Let me know what you think.
