What pergola cover can be installed at 2-degrees pitch?
I live in a Strata Titled property and the product they have approved to cover the pergola isn’t suitable for the structure ie the pitch is 2 degrees but needs to be 5 for this product (builder advised at quote).
i can’t request approval for a different but suitable product without paying (a sizeable fee considering) to have the by-law altered but I can find something that looks exactly the same as the approved one and seek approval to use that.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Approved product attached.
😊

Re: Alternative Pergola Cover
Hi @tgraham,
The only roofing material I am aware of that can be used on a 2-degree pitch is Lysaght Spandek. This can be ordered through the Trade or Special Orders desks at your local Bunnings.
The Spandek profile is similar to the one that was approved, but it is steel, not polycarbonate so it won't look exactly alike.
Have you considered increasing the pitch of the pergola so you can use the Greca Polycarbonate sheets?
Depending on the construction, you may be able to add timbers to the top of the pergola to increase the pitch.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
