Does Bunnings cut holes for door locks and hinges on custom doors?

hello

I am planning to replace the doors in the bedroom and bathroom as they are worn out and also paint them including the existing door frame.

I understand bunnings can do custom size doors if needed but would like to know if they will do the hole for the door lock including the sides for the door hinges etc or would I need to do it myself. 

In terms of painting,  for two coates would 4 litres would be enough to paint 5 door frames and another 4 litres for the doors?

Apologies for the slow reply. Our resident Bunnings D.I.Y. experts are all travelling at present but will try to get back to you as soon as possible. 

In the meantime, were you aware that Bunnings has a full door installation service?

There is also a paint calculator that might helpful on the Bunnings website.

Hi @Joker2021,

It's great to see that @Jason has pointed you to our door installation service. This would be a good option if you're not familiar with fixing door hardware. We do have these kits to make your life easier when positioning the holes. Unfortunately, our door supplier isn't able to pre-drill the handle mounting holes in the doors.

With the two coats, that's at least 50 metres squared. A four-litre can will cover 32 metres squared, so you'd likely need two of them.
