Hi my partner is trying to cut cornice at an angle to meet in the corner can anybody give us some advice on how to cut it please & thank you
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @kyliekeith. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about cutting cornice.
It sounds like one of these Builders Edge Altamonte Mitre Template Plaster Tools would come in handy. They are a guide that allows you to cut the correct angle on your cornice for the corners.
Here's the Gyprock cornice installation guide in case you haven't read through it already.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mitchell thank you the dilema is we have a pitched roof at maybe a 45 degree angle
You might like to check out this discussion, @kyliekeith: How to make cornice corner joints with a raked ceiling. You'll likely need to use the mitre template to get an approximate angle and then do a test fit. After doing the test fit with the standard angle, you'll be able to see whether you need to increase or decrease the angle of the cut. Remember, you'll be filling any gaps with plaster, so the fit doesn't need to be perfectly exact.
