Which security latch lock is suitable for a bedroom?

I need to install a sliding security latch lock in my bedroom. Which one will be suitable and any advice how to install without damaging the door

If it is a hidden internal sliding door, I suggest looking at the following:

It will be necessary to cut and drill holes into the door itself in order for these locks to be installed properly. If you don't have the necessary tools to install the lock, I suggest inquiring about the door lock installation service offered at the store. However, if you are after an external bolt type lock like the Ikonic White Patio Bolt it will be necessary to drill a hole in the floor and the sliding door will not be able to fully retract into the wall cavity.
