What hook should I use to hang a 1kg clock on a plasterboard wall?
Hi @artarmonboy,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community.
I'd suggest you can use Zenith 10kg SureHook Plasterboard Insert Screw Picture Hanger. They are designed to hold up to 10kg, so they far out weight your requirements.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi @artarmonboy,
Just to add to this, where possible, it is always best for any hooks to be embedded in a stud, so the load is supported by timber as opposed to plasterboard.
You could use a stud finder to locate the stud and then use Hangman Double Headed Black Bear Claw Screws to hang the clock from. This will give you much more strength, as the weight of the clock is being transferred into the timber and down through the wall.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
