Wall panelling, tv and entertainment unit mounting

I am planning several projects. I would like to have wall panels, tv and entertainment unit wall mounted. What I wanted to know is what's done first. Does the wall panelling has to be done first before the tv and entertainment unit could be mounted?

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

I'd suggest the wall panelling is done first, followed by the TV and entertainment unit.

It would be worth taking the location of the TV and entertainment unit into account when designing the panelling, but it would be much easier to cut away or adjust the wall panelling if required than it would be to install the panelling to accommodate a TV and entertainment unit that is not yet there.
