Upcycled vase using acrylic paint

Bought a vase from opshop. Bought sample pot paint (acrylic paint) from Bunnings. Mixed this paint with baking soda and paint my vase. Gave it three coats. Bought wooden beads garland and added to my vase.

Materials

Paint brush

acrylic paint in colour of choice

white acrylic paint for base coat

baking Soda

Bead garland

gloss/matt spray

Steps

Step 1

Wash base with soap 

paint base coat

Mix top paint with baking soda

Paint vase 2 or 3 times-make sure vase is

dry between coats

Spray with Matt or gloss lacquer (personal

preference). 
Add some beads and enjoy your completed vase
