Upcycled coffee table

This was originally a white coffee table that was looking a bit outdated. I repainted it black, inserted some rattan on front of drawers, replaced handles and applied some vinyl contact to the top of the table.

Materials

Handles, paint, contact paper

Tools

Paint brushes, sander, glue

Steps

Step 1

Step 2

I applied 2 coats of black paint.

Step 3

I applied rattan sheets to front of drawers.

Step 4

I installed new black handles to drawers

Step 5

I applied contact paper to the top of table

Re: Upcycled Coffee table

Hi @Leetes1963,

Thank you so much for sharing your project and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you join us.

I love the contrast between the black paint, the rattan and the timber look contact. It's given the old coffee table a wonderful new lease on life.

Congratulations on your beautiful "new" coffee table.

Jacob

Afternoon @Leetes1963

Modenised it nicely  It definently looks current in style and I must admit your top of the table has caught me by surprise! I looked at it and went "nice" then read what you had done, then checked the before photo... You said you used contact and man that has fooled me twice! Very nice work!
