New rumpus room tiled floor

Rumpus room was old stained carpet. I have never tiled before but someone had to do it..

Many thanks for sharing your tiling project. I'm sure our members would like to know some more details if you'd like to share. What was the floor under the original carpet that you tiled on? Did you have any difficulties in the project? Is there any advice you could give to members that haven't tiled an area such as this before?
