How to soundproof a wall in a rental home?

Hi all,

I live in an apartment and unfortunately share a wall with a very inconsiderate neighbour.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can soundproof a rental wall? I tried moving cupboards against the wall, but not much help.

If you can let our helpful members know a little more about the types of sounds being transferred through the wall, it will assist them in providing informed solutions. One method that has been bought up several times before and that you might be able to implement in your rental is the attachment of Acoustic Pinboard Panels to the wall.
