I rescued a dining Table with Four chairs from curb side and want to revive them either with oil or some colours maybe white.

Need some help from where to start as they seems to have been kept outside for long and the wood is affected by weather. The actual look was pine as you can see in one of the pictures from under the table.

Re: Revive weathered Indoor furniture

Hi @shary,

Thank you for your question.

Start by sanding the table and chairs to remove the old coating, brush down the table and chairs to remove any saw dust and then apply your choice of finishing material.

You might like to have a read through How To Restore Wooden Furniture and How To Restore A Timber Table In A Few Easy Steps which will explain the process and offer guidance on materials.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
