Hi All. Does any one know how to get these marks off my black wooden coffee table?
I got them from when I had tissue paper and was painting my nails on the tissue. The tissue was meant to protect the table but obviously didn’t.
When it’s dry the spots are white but when it’s wet/wiped over it just becomes dark spots. Please see pictures.
Appreciate any advice 🙂
Hi @yesha-p,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is great to have you with us.
Did you possibly use any acetone or nail polish remover? I suspect that there is a waxy coating on the coffee table that has been chemically damaged.
Your problem is very similar to that of @Suhas in his post Help! Bug spray has stained TV stand, where I believe the issue was in relation to alcohol content in the bug spray.
They had some success using black wax such as Gilly's 200 ml Black Wax. This might also be a good option for you.
Let me know if you've got any other questions.
