I’ve got a few spills of nail polish remover on a wooden coffee table. It looks like it has stripped some of the varnish off and left patchy marks. How can I repair this? Can anyone recommend the right products to use? Thanks
Hello @angie2
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about repairing the finish on your wooden table.
You can temporarily restore the polish of your table by using Glitz 200g Beeswax Polish. This will restore the lustre of your table and partially reduce the patchy marks but will not totally remove it. Unfortunately, the acetone has stripped the surface covering of your table and the only way to bring it back is to sand down the surface and reapply a new sealer on the surface.
A good example of a table sealer is Cabot's 1L Satin Clear Benchtop Timber Finish
