Hi, we are trying to remove old curtain rail brackets and some of the screws are broken so we can’t get them out with a drill or screwdriver. Is there another way? Pliers didn’t work either. Thank you!
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @nkw. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing broken screws.
When you mention that the screws are broken, have they snapped or is the Phillips bit head stripped out? If the Phillips slotted head has stripped out, you could try using a Craftright 3 Piece Screw Remover Set. Alternatively, you could lever the bracket off the wall with a flathead screwdriver and then fill, sand back and paint the damaged area.
