Hi all! I have quite a few of these around the house. There used to be some signage around the house which was torn down but it also peeled off the paint and paper (?). I'm not sure what type of wall other than its wooden. I'd appreciate any advice on how to patch it.
Should I use this tutorial to patch it? I https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LBcwabUquak
Thank you!
Hi @theM,
Following the guide would be a good way to deal with this issue. I suggest you start by neatening the ripped edges and removing the loose paper. It might be easiest to cut around the perimeter of the damage with a Stanley knife. You can then peel the paper back to the cut line, which will give you some nice crisp edges to plaster up to. Please remember your PPE when using knives, like safety gloves. Also, make sure to cut away from your body and free hand.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
