How to patch a hole in flooring?

We have a small chip taken out of the floor from something being dropped recently. Is there a way we could fix it other than replacing the section? Wondering if there is a filler that would be suitable. Grateful for any advice.

Hello @mimsi

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about repairing your floor

If the hole is deep enough it should be possible to use a timber filler. The tricky part is finding the right shade, there are a variety of timber colours to choose from in the Timbermate Wood filler Range. I propose taking several photos of the floor and going to the store and see which one is closest to its tone and colour. Please note that the filler is not a permanent fix as you have laminate flooring. It will be necessary to fill the damage every now and then.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
