hi all I’ve just moved here and the inside is all exposed brick. I find when I go to bed that it smells like concrete. I thought if I painted or sealed the walls I could get rid of the smell. Any ideas what’s the better option thanks Jenny
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Jenny3. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sealing a brick wall.
Either painting or using a specific sealing product would inhibit the smell. I believe the most effective solution would be to use Dulux Precision Stain, Smoke & Odour Blocker, followed by the topcoat of your choice. If you'd prefer a clear sealer instead of paint, then I'd recommend Crommelin 4L Water Based Brick Sealer.
Since the Precision primer is specifically designed to inhibit odours, I'd suggest it would be the better option.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
