Hi
I want to put new curtain brackets to hold double curtains (sheer and curtain). Do I need some sort of anchors or just screw it to the window frame.
The old brackets are fixed on the window frame like this. Looks like no anchor.
thanks
Tom
Hello @tomyz8899
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about installing curtain brackets.
If you are screwing into the window frame itself, my best suggestion is to drill pilot holes into the timber to prevent splitting them. Make sure to double check that the drill bit you are using is not so big that it renders the screws useless. I also suggest having a look at this guide - How to hang just about anything by @Adam_W.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How to hang sheer curtains.
