Hi Everyone,
Would you please help me to find out if it is possible to hang a heavy mirror on a wall without stud. I found some heavy duty/ stud free hooks (below link) but are they reliable?

Hi @Serveh,
Let me tag a few helpful members who might be able to share their thoughts with you on how they would hang the mirror.

Hi @Serveh
31kg sounds epic. Do you have a photo to share?
why is it you can’t use a stud? Is there a hook on the back of this mirror?
if you want to hand anything from plaster I highly recommend this tool and the anchors.
@LePallet thank you. This is the mirror and the hook. Studs might not be at the right place to center the mirror 🙁
I have used the wall anchors with the setting tool and for my last job Wall Grabs by Macsim rated to 20kg in plaster just needs a No.2 square drive, I put them in with a screw driver no and need for a pilot hole in plaster type products just don't overtighten them as they would strip fairly easily.
Hi @Serveh. I apologise for the delay in my reply, I'd be happy to assist.
I've just made contact with Zenith about the Zenith 40kg Zinc Plated SurehookStud Free Picture Hanger and they have qualified that hook is suitable for holding up to 40kg in plasterboard. It appears you have a couple of fitting loops and using two of these hooks to support the 40kg would be more than sufficient.
If you have further questions or need assistance, please let me know.

Hi @Serveh
Didn't you have to go through the stud for this project?
I am in a similar situation where my mirror weighs 15Kg. I have got advice to go straight to Stud.
Hi @Sugar,
It's definitely always best to hang the mirror from a solid structure like a stud. Feel free to add to your original post if you need further help.
