one of the sliding doors on my wardrobe is stuck looks like the wheel in the base has come off. I tried to fix by inserting it back and not sure if it is broken or just not inserted. How do I fix this?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @isfand. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about fixing a sliding door.
To fix your sliding wardrobe door, you’ll first need to remove the wheel from the carriage, which is likely held in place by the screw near the axle of the wheel. Once you’ve removed the wheel, inspect it to check if it's damaged. If the wheel is broken, it will need to be replaced. If it’s just come off and is undamaged, you can simply reinsert it into the mechanism, but since you've already tried that something sounds like it is broken.
If possible, please provide a photo of the wheel, and we can help determine if it needs replacing. As long as the new wheel can be installed correctly and the carriage mechanism is still functional, this should restore the operation of the sliding door.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mitchell, Thank you for your help with this. I have taken some more pics for you to look at. The mechanism looks pretty simple to me but the wheel does not stay in the carriage I have tried tightening the screw from the top but looks like it does not even come in contact with the base.
Hi @isfand,
Can you advise what actually happens when you rotate this screw?
It looks like the carriage sits over this piece; however, I don't see how it would attach to it.
Does the screw make any part rotate or expand? It looks like the nib that is about 5mm below the screw might rotate when the screw is turned. Is that correct?
I'm a bit stumped by that one I'm sorry.

Hi @isfand
This looks like a Prime-line roller assembly. The web site has the dimensions and if it doesn't match you will easily be able to return it for a refund.
And that screw should wind down to push the aluminium section under it down on to the roller assemble. It uses gravity to lift the wheel as you turn the screw the other way. It's not a great system, but an old one. But if it's just the wheel axel thats collapsed then you shouldn't need to make any adjustments once the assembly is replaced.

Good Evening @isfand
I saw your sliding mirrors and went "They are mine" lol
Just had a look at the rollers on my mirrors, similar but not the same 😕 The premise that @JacobZ has suggested sounds sound, especially withe screw adjusting the wheel. (mind is a lot more obvious)
Looking at the photo of the removed wheel it kind of looks like the wheels pin is off center? If that is the case then that could be why the wheel is loose.
I know the doors are HEAVY, so if that bearing of the wheel has moved out of teh housing I can easily imagine it jamming. I also remember having a tine stone (blue metal piece) caught in the base of teh V of the track. You track looks a little differant but still a stone could be unseen and cause it to jump out?
On a side note, Im still trying to work out how to get the tall edges of the mirror to clamp back onto the mirror Just in case you know
