Hi team,
I bought these coffee table and lamp table due two years ago and it started cracking from the top after only a few months.
It’s a cement look white round coffee table about 70 to 80 cm in diameter with 55 cm diameter centimeter diameter lamp table. The top surface is chipping and cracking
Hi @musik,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
I believe you are looking to fix the cracking and the chips in your coffee table, is that correct?
Unfortunately, the cracking is not fixable outside of a cosmetic repair and is likely down to the quality of the concrete mix that was used to create this table. Luckily, the cracks are not so significant that they can't be covered by suitable paint.
You might like to use some Turbo Builders Bog to fill the chips on the edge. Once dry, sand them to a smooth finish using a Sanding Sponge, before painting with a suitable paint such as Dulux Weathershield.
Allow me to tag some of our helpful members to see if they have any other ideas, @DIYGnome, @Jewelleryrescue, @Noyade.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob
