Good afternoon
what is the best way to fix a hairline crack in tiles? One tile is white marbled and the other tiles are a creamy colour. I don’t have access to house to get a photo at present
Thanks in advance
Hello @melt682
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your tiles.
One of the difficulties with patching hairline cracks is trying to match its colour. There is also the issue of adherence, because the crack is so small any patch placed would in time come off as it does not actually settle into the hairline crack. To reduce the visibility of the crack, I suggest washing it with water and detergent to remove any dirt or debris that might have settled in the crack. Once the crack is totally dry apply a thin coat of Gorilla Glue 51ml Clear Bottle.
This will temporarily seal the crack and prevent dirt from settling inside of it. You can use the same method on the cream-coloured tile. When you have the budget for it, I recommend having the tiles removed and fixed properly.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
