Hi,
I am planning to build a wooden corner bookshelf. Can you please recommend the timber that should be used for this. I need something that can hold weight and preferably in walnut colour to go with the furniture, thank you.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @moeenq. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about creating a bookshelf.
The choice of timber largely depends on the size and design of your corner bookshelf. If you could share some dimensions or even a rough sketch, it would help members suggest the most suitable materials. Let me know if you need a hand uploading images.
We have a wide range of multi-use timber panels available, which would likely be a great option for your project. These panels are strong and stable, making them ideal for holding weight, and you can stain them to achieve your desired walnut finish.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I want to build something like the one in the photo. What thickness panels should suit best and what would be recommended screws to use? Thank you.
Hi @moeenq,
You could use Specrite 1800 x 405 x 18mm Timber Multi Use Pine Panels as the shelves and 140 x 19mm 1.8m DAR Pine Premium - 1.8m as the uprights.
I'd recommend you glue the joints with PVA wood glue and then screw the joists with Zenith 10G x 75mm Gold Passivated Type 17 Countersunk Head Timber Screws.
