So a few weeks ago i knocked up a couple of bedsides and a sideboard.
Repainted the room in a soft grey and high gloss white skirts and trims.
We had some old lamps that were bronze and brown in colour. Resprayed bases in high gloss black and Resprayed the shades in charcoal chalk paint.
Paint used...
Walls Tranquil Retreat dulux
Trims Aqua enamel high gloss white.
Furniture matt black inside, Dulux Signature semi gloss enamel.
Dulux Signature low sheen feature wall.
I also attached timber to the ensemble base to frame it in with the bedsides.
just waiting for the bedhead to arrive and then all done.
Hi @Carol_Prime,
Many thanks for sharing your project. Your room looks fantastic and I'm a great fan of the colour pallet you've chosen. I've also used the Taskmaster hairpin legs and feel they are a great choice for your bedsides and sideboard. Congratulations on completing a fantastic project which I trust many of our members will take some great inspiration from. We look forward to seeing what other projects you have planned around your house and garden and can't wait for you to share them

Looks fantastic!
updated the bed covers and added a headboard. Looks more like a cosy place to relax and think your on holiday.
With travel restrictions on we might even stay in this room for a bit and it will feel like we are on holidays.
Love the concept of taking a holiday in your own home @Carol_Prime. We've been doing something similar over the holidays and trying to recreate the feel of a holiday resort in our backyard.
