Floating TV unit
Here I have made a Floating TV Unit made from one laminated Tasmania Oak bench top which was purchased from Bunnings.
Once I had all my measurements I cut everything to size, glued and biscuit all joins.
I then hung on the unit on the wall using a method called “French Cleat”.

Re: Floating TV unit
Beautiful design and installation @LePallet! Did you have any pictures of the French cleat attachment method? I trust our member would be interested in knowing how you so seamlessly attached the unit to the wall.
Many thanks for sharing.

Re: Floating TV unit
Very nice! 😁
Yes, I too would like to know the secrets of the French attachment method.
To my layman's eyes - looks like a lot of stress on the wall once loaded?
Power-points?
