Do I need to replace wall TV cables?

Hi . I have a large wall tv with cables to foxtel and dvd etc done by a electrician down the inside of wall. I'm just replacing fowtel with brand new 4k box and wondering how I replace the old to new cables down wall or should the old ones be okay .

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your cables.

Would it be possible for you to post a photo where the cables are coming in/out of the wall? This will give our members a better idea of your set-up. We can then make recommendations on how to proceed.

Although your old cable might work you won't get the full 4K experience as you need a 4k compatible cable. For that matter you need a 4k capable television to go with it. Otherwise, you probably won't see the difference.
