Can you whitewash Jarrah furniture?
Would it be possible to whitewash this? The dark jarrah doesn't suit.
If yes, is it really difficult?

Re: can you whitewash jarrah furniture?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @GG2. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about whitewashing timber.
If your table is an original Parker furniture piece, it's worth noting that these are quite sought after and may hold significant value in their current state. If that's the case, you might want to consider selling it and purchasing something that better suits your style rather than altering it.
However, if you're set on whitewashing the table, it's definitely possible. You'll need to sand back the existing finish to allow the new colour to adhere properly. Once the surface is prepped, you can apply a product like Feast Watson 250ml Liming White Satin Stain & Varnish to achieve the whitewashed look. The process will take several hours, mainly due to the sanding, but it’s not particularly difficult.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
