The boys already had this Kura bed from Ikea, this time they wanted a slide that we put on top of the ladder, so to climb the wall we created a climbing wall on the corner of the room. We created a niche painting the walls/ceiling in a dark blue colour. We painted the climbing rocks to match with the sticker we already had. We replaced the carpet for a hybrid flooring and replaced the ceiling fan and lighting.
Plywood, climbing rocks, timber, Dulux paint, hybrid flooring Havanah colour, liquid nail, screws, white backing board, handrail profile timber
Screw driver, saw
We start painting the walls and ceiling in a dark blue from Dulux.
We spray painted the climbing rocks, then attached them to a 20mm plywood.
We attached some timber to the walls, screwing them on existing studs.
To the slide we used the same plywood, just attached some timber on the sides and a 3mm white backing board on top glued with liquid nail to make it smooth, the boys asked to be quite steep. We used a handrail profile to finish.

What an awesome bedroom you've created there! I trust your children are thrilled with the results. That climbing wall is just the coolest, and the slide is a great idea.
Have much trouble trying to get them to go to sleep?
Thanks again for sharing, and well done.
