Steps
Step 1
1/10Measure and Cut panelling to size using your track saw.
Step 2
2/10Place panelling on wall, connect the panels using the Gorila glue at the joins. The panelling will click into each other.
Step 3
3/10Secure VJ Panelling to wall with nails.
Step 4
4/10Fill Nail holes and Joins and allow to dry. Here is the product I used.
Step 5
5/10Once dry lightly sand filler.
Step 6
6/10Use painters tape to tape up surrounding areas before painting I used Frog Tape.
Step 7
7/10Cut in using a brush, for this project I chose to use a smaller brush to minimise any thick cutting in lines. This part can take a while so avoid any thick layers of paint as they may start to dry before you use your roller leaving "thicker" lines.
Step 8
8/10Once you've cut in, Use a roller to paint the rest of the panelling. You will need to do two coats.
Step 9
9/10Once the paint is all dry, add a trim of your choice. Fill Nail Holes and once dried sand and tape up for painting. Frog Tape is great for freshly painted surfaces.
Step 10
10/10Once you're done, Style as desired.

Re: Boys bedroom makeover using VJ panelling
Hello @monochromehaus
Thank you so much for sharing the steps and materials of your boy's bedroom makeover project. The paint finish on those EasyVJ panels is superb. I love the wallpaper you've chosen, and those extra details with the Marvel heads is just fantastic. I'm sure your boy love's the new look of his room.
Many thanks for sharing.
