Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help with a block out idea for bedroom,blinds sit out from the window,so light gets in.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about installing block out blinds.

The block out blind is commonly installed right next to the window frame to prevent light from leaking into the bedroom. However, if you wish to have a gap between the blind and the window frame to allow light to come in all you need to do is to use a 42 x 19mm 1.2m DAR Pine Standard and install it in front of the window frame. The blind can then be fixed onto the pine piece which will provide the gap you are after.
