We transformed our teenagers small bedroom using porta timber mouldings available off the shelf at Bunnings to create a board and batten design.
Very happy with how it turned out and the cost was pretty nominal but it looks a million bucks. It also didn't make the room feel smaller.
We also used Dulux paint in Domino and White on White for the two tone look.

Lovely work @xxsimonexx! I trust you are very pleased with the results. The entire feel of the room has been changed for the better. I'm sure your teenager is stoked about the transformation.
Many thanks for sharing, and I look forward to your next project.

Thank you! It has changed the room so much.
Yes he absolutely loves it- who knows he may even keep his room clean now?! Wishful thinking 🤔
This is amazing!
looks absolutely terrific
I want to do something like this in my living room, what did you use? I’ve seen people suggest MDF moulding panels off the shelf, is that what you used?
also, at 5m lengths, how on earth did you get them home?
Hello @megan63
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us.
Let me tag @xxsimonexx to make them aware of your kind words and questions. If you do decide to use lengths of MDF they can be cut down at the store to make them smaller for ease of transport. You can then cut it precisely to the size you need when you get home.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
