hybrid flooring

I am wanting to lay floor select 100% waterproof spotted gum hybrid flooring in my new kitchen, laundry and bathroom my question is can I put cabinets, toilet, washing machine on the floor while still leaving a 10mm gap around perimeter cheers Allan

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Fatimah1967. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about installing hybrid flooring.

The cabinets and washing machine are fine to put on the flooring. However, the toilet will need to be installed first onto the subfloor, and the flooring boards cut to fit around it.

It will then be fine to leave your 10mm gap around the room. Just a note that although the flooring is waterproof, as in it's not affected by water, you still need to adhere to wet-area waterproofing requirements.

Hi Mitchell the subfloor is concrete and toilet will have a rear outlet not through the floor does that make a difference cheers Allan

You might need to speak to the toilet installer @Fatimah1967. You could potentially install it over the Hybrid flooring, but typically, we don't install toilets over floating flooring.
