Hi,
I am considering buying a Westinghouse oven where the depth is 573mm to install in my new kaboodle kitchen. The Bunnings website says that the kaboodle oven cabinet depth is 560mm.
Will the extra 13mm of depth be a problem? I’m not sure if the depth measurement includes the oven handle.
thanks
Hello @salmo
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about the Kaboodle oven cabinet.
You are correct the Kaboodle oven cabinet is 560mm in overall depth, but the interior space is only 540mm. I propose looking at your Westinghouse manual and finding out how much space the oven body actually needs to occupy. The front face of the oven is usually the same thickness as the door of the kitchen cabinets which is around 18 to 20mm. The inner lip of the oven unit which is screwed onto the oven cabinet will immediately tell you if the oven is too deep and will not fit in the cabinet.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
