I've got a cracked fridge crisper drawer. I've ordered some perspex sheet to glue on as reinforcing.
What glue is good for this? Will acrylic glues or solvent glues hold on the plastic of the drawer?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Kilimaniau. It's amazing to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about gluing plastic.
Plastics are notoriously hard to glue. I suggest you use glue specifically for them that includes a primer such as Selleys 3ml Power Grip All Plastics Glue.

Thanks Mitchell. I hadn't thought of fridge trays a plastic. But the primer might do the trick.
I'll hang on a bit in case someone answers who has done the job..
As a repair is notoriously difficult @Kilimaniau, I'd try to get in contact with the fridge manufacturer and order replacement drawers.

Hi @Kilimaniau
I've used a few times Loctite Extreme Glue quite successfully on cracked fridge shelving repairs. I liked this one because of its sub-zero applications. The thing to factor in is how bad is break and is it suseptble to heavy loads. I think it's worth having a go at fixing it with either this product or the one @MitchellMc suggested. And if it fails then I would just go down the replacement drawer path. Because if plastic doesn't take the first time, it's unlikely on any further attempts.
Nailbag
I would but they are also notoriously expensive. I'll see if I can patch them as a first try. Thanks for the thought
