How to repair a cracked benchtop?

just wondering if there is an easy way to repair a crack in a “smartstone”stone kitchen bench top?

Thanks for sharing your question about bench top repair. In this particular situation, I suggest engaging the services of a professional stone repair person. One of the dangers of this type of damage is the possibility of the crack spreading and travelling along the stone top. If you know the manufacturer of your stone top, you'll be able to ask them for an authorized repair company that can repair this type of damage.

The repair person will be able to assess if the crack travels all the way into the depth of the stone or if it is just a surface crack. Some stone tops have identification marks tagged at the bottom of the top, I suggest having a look underneath to see if they have any identifying marks.
