How to remove cork stain on benchtop?
Hi
The cork pot stand that we were using appears to have stained our bench top.
I have tried putting bicarb soda on it but didn’t appear to help. Does anyone have any other idea how I can get rid of the stain marks?

Re: Remove stain on benchtop
Hello @HaruS
I propose using 1/2 cup of cleaning vinegar and 1 cup of water mix well and use a spray bottle to apply on surface. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wash off with dish washing liquid and water. Use a paper towel to dry it off.
Is it a laminated benchtop? If it is, the stain has travelled into the lower layers of the laminate, and it might not be possible to get it out. I suggest engaging the services of benchtop cleaning/restoration specialist, they might have a tool that can extract the stain out of the laminate panel.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Re: Remove stain on benchtop
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your response, I will give that a try.
I believe it’s made out of engineered stone (silica free).
