How to remove cartridge from a Modella resonance mixer tap?

How do I remove the cartridge From a Modella Resonance 40mm Pin Lever sink mixer.

I have removed handle and dome but the cartridge locking nut keeps turning the whole cartridge assembly including the hot and cold flex connections.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your tapware.

Would it be possible for you post a photo of the tap in its current state? It's possible that the locking base plate may have come loose and as such the entire assembly could be turning. Once we see what's going on we will be able to provide you with more recommendations.
