Hi, how do I join a benchtop when one side has laminex on it? Thanks for any help.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @mavisj. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about joining a benchtop.
Generally, benchtop joiners would join two sections of a benchtop. If one side has Laminex on it, what is the other one made from? Or, are you saying that one of the laminate benchtops has a laminate edging on the end to which you are joining the new section, which doesn't have a laminate edging? The edging needs to be removed, and the sections glued together with joiners to get the least noticeable join. There will be a pretty noticeable join if you join them with an edging strip in between.

Thanks Mitchell. We have changed the join to an angle join and this has worked. Thanks so much.
