Hello @alivoulgaris
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us and thank you for sharing your question about your La Bella wine rack.
I suggest placing the two short pieces at the very top of the assembly. One on each side of the assembly. In essence, you should have 120 slots for wine bottles. If you look at your assembly now that's 11 bottles per row with 11 rows, which in total should give you 121 slots. But because you have one short piece, it will technically give you 120 slots.
I've placed a diagram below for you to get an idea of how to assemble it. I suggest using a rubber mallet to gently tap the timber pieces in place.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Thanks Eric, a guy on my local area fb posted these instructions to me;
Make the base frame with 11 long pieces left to right and 12 short pieces top to bottom, that will form one side. Then add your timber pieces, then you press the remaining metal pieces in again on the top before hammering in.
Done now and works fine. It is VERY difficult to line up the metal pieces with the short timber pieces. You have to tap every one of the timber struts into final position otherwise doesn’t fit.
Now I know why all the wine specialists offer these wine racks PRE ASSEMBLED!
The 3rd party Bunnings manufacturer “Princess Trader Australia” hung up
on me continually and eventually responded to my email with even more confusing instructions… 🤨
It would be great to see a Bunnings how to video of this wine rack assembly - that includes the final steps.
Is that something you would do Eric?
Thanks again for responding to me.
Alison
I'm glad you got it all assembled. To be honest that assembly looks to be very challenging as you said. You never know it might come up on the how-to video list of Bunnings. If I ever get asked to build one I'll be sure to mention your name. Would it be possible for you to post a picture of the finished wine rack? I'm sure our members would be keen to see the finished product.
