Best sealer for this benchtop?
I have read mixed reviews about this Utility Panel. We are wanting to use it for our kitchen bench top including the sides of the island bench.
Could I get some advice on the best sealer etc to use. We have a spirited 12yo so will need to be super heavy duty. I want to keep the natural colours so no stain tint.

Re: Best sealer for this benchtop?
Hi @PaulaD,
Durability-wise you'd likely be best going with a hard coating like Cabot's 1L Satin Clear Benchtop Timber Finish. It's a highly durable and stain-resistant coating. As with most coatings, it will send the timber a slightly darker shade, something similar to the image below. This is the difference between raw and sealed timber. You could try a wax or oil to achieve a more natural and raw look, but they aren't considered particularly durable.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
