The garden has loved the rain that we've had in the last few days. I hope today's wind doesn't cause havoc though.
pomegranate awesome, remember as a kid in Canada buying them in the store we would cut them in have and eat them with a pin lol
I want to plant some sugar snap peas and snow peas because they are so expensive to buy.
This is handy for those unsure what to plant - http://www.gardenate.com/
Here's some tips for planting bulbs in autumn, courtesy of Bunnings:
We got our autumn/winter vegies planted over the weekend.
In the Vegepod we planted spinach, cauliflower and broccoli.
In the garden we also planted some cos lettuce, snow peas, sugar snaps and spring onions.
Here's the finished result after putting down pea straw and watering.
Please share if you've also been planting recently.

Harvested the first of the spinach leaves yesterday. Delicious! Here's what the Vegepod is now looking like, including the harvested leaves in a plastic tub...
Lettuce leaves are also ready to be picked...
But very early days for the snow peas and sugar snaps. I probably have neglected them a little - must keep ensuring they are growing upwards...
How are your winter vegies going?
