Can anybody tell me what sort of grass this is
Hello @camps
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your lawn.
From the image, your grass appears to be a type of Kikuyu or possibly a hybrid variety. Kikuyu is a common warm-season grass known for its rapid growth, bright green colour, and slightly coarse texture. It spreads through underground rhizomes and above-ground runners, making it quite aggressive but also durable.
If the grass has a soft feel with fine leaves, it could be a hybrid or a blend with other species like Couch or Buffalo. Kikuyu thrives in full sun but can struggle in shady areas. It requires regular mowing, as it can become thatchy if left to grow too long.

Thanks
im not sure which of the 2 it could be. Want to get it right as iv already got a mix of that and buffalo. Didn’t want to have a 3rd variety
Hello @camps,
If you decide to use a slow-release fertilizer on your lawn, just make sure it says "For all varieties" you get to feed your lawn without worrying that you might harm the other types of grass mixed in.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
