Hello @redsta

It's great to hear you're planning on starting a vegetable garden. For planting vegetables, a general recommendation is to use about 10–15 liters of sheep manure per square meter. Since your sheep manure comes in 25-liter bags, one bag would cover approximately 1.5 to 2.5 square meters, depending on how rich you want the soil to be.

Simply spread the manure evenly over the soil surface and lightly mix it in. Sheep manure is nutrient-rich and relatively gentle, so it’s a great choice for vegetable gardens without the risk of burning plants. Just make sure to water the area well after applying to help integrate the nutrients into the soil.

Re: how bags

Hi @redsta

How many square meters is your garden bed? As I've mentioned 1 bag of manure can cover approximately 1.5 to 2.5 square meters. Your 11 bags would approximately cover 27 square meters, keep in mind it also depends on how thick you'll be spreading the manure.

If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Re: how bags

Hello @redsta

If you are covering that much space, I suggest 12 bags instead of 11. But if you feel you want a thicker layer of manure then you can add a few extra bags.
