Re: dwarf mulberry tree
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Leeanne82. It's amazing to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about planting a mulberry tree.
An 85L pot should be perfectly suitable for a dwarf variety of mulberry. It provides plenty of room for the root system to establish and grow, which is essential for healthy fruit production.
However, if your plant is currently in a smaller nursery pot, you might consider re-potting it into a slightly smaller pot first and saving the 85L pot for later when the tree is more developed. Managing moisture levels can be easier in smaller pots, as larger pots tend to retain more water, which can sometimes lead to root issues for younger plants.
When the tree outgrows the smaller pot, you can then transfer it to the 85L pot, ensuring it has ample space to continue thriving. In the meantime, make sure whichever pot you choose has good drainage, and use a quality potting mix.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
