What hedge for full sun and shade?

Hi,

I was wondering what would be a good hedge for full sun and shade?

I’m seeking one that would be a border hedge, maybe height 30cm max.

The other, I’d like to grow along a fence line, maybe 1.8 metres or so.

I  like  

Japanese Box - Buxus Microphylla Japonica  For a small green hedge

Reasonably in expensive as you will need  a few .

English Box hedge "Buxus

If you like  a lovely purple  leaf low hedge try 

Alternanthera Dentata (compact variety) or 'Little Ruby'" 

Many many plants out there will fill your need "look  up  small hedges on google for more ideas

Thank you for your question.

I'm a fan of the Dwarf Japanese Box - Buxus microphylla Microphylla that @Jewelleryrescue mentioned.

Another nice option for your low hedge is a Murraya Paniculata which will grow fragrant white flowers in the Summer.

For your tall hedge, I like Lily Pilly - Syzigium resilience and Viburnum - Viburnum tinus.

I suppose it is all up to preference, but these would all be nice for your purposes.
